One of the West Midlands most successful networking communities is celebrating its first birthday.
The Unisey Hub was founded in December 2009 by Sue Cartwright, and currently boasts more than 180 members across the region.
The organisation aims to raise the profiles of businesses and professionals, connecting them through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
Sue said, “Having spent 20 years helping organisations to engage with people, I have thoroughly enjoyed developing a leading-edge social media marketing model that provides the best possible strategic approach for success.”
The group is celebrating its first year of success with a seminar on March 23, at the Grosvenor Casino in Walsall.
The seminar will include keynote speeches from award winning business generation specialist Michelle-Mills Porter, and Director of Funf Media Marverine Cole.
Sue added, “My vision is to help everyone experience the remarkable benefits of social media, my mission is to actively promote and instil the positive spirit and protocol that‘s built-in to that.”
The event will also allow anyone attending to learn the insider secrets on how to network and showcase their businesses through social media.
There will also be advice on how best to survive the recession and how to professionals can finance their respective firms.
Sue said, “There are so many wonderful people contributing to this event, and many opportunities and benefits to be gained from being part of this fabulous group of professionals.
“We look forward to getting together to celebrate our first year as a successful, award winning group and to welcome new members to the fold.”
All the profits from the event will be invested to finance a new cutting edge blog, which it’s hoped will help members to showcase their expertise, while planning for future events to help achieve even greater success in the future.
