Networking Community Is One Year Old


The Public Space where the hub will be marking it's first birthday

One of the West Midlands most successful networking communities is celebrating its first birthday, at one of the Black Country’s most iconic buildings.

The Unisey Hub is marking its first successful year with a seminar on how to connect businesses through social networking, to be held at The Public, West Bromwich on March 23.

The organisation was founded in December 2009 by Sue Cartwright, and currently boasts more than 180 members across the region.

The group aims to raise the profiles of businesses and professionals, connecting them through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Sue said, “Our vision is to help everyone experience the benefits of social and local networking.

“Our mission is to actively promote and instil the positive spirit that’s a key part of our values, which are to share the life-enhancing benefits of integrity, creativity, passion, unity and fun!”

The seminar will encompass the entire first floor of The Public, with everyone attending being able to take advantage of the buildings cutting edge audio and visual facilities.

The Unisey Hub are also offering business sponsorships at the event for £250, and exhibitor stands for £125 for 2 people, to include tickets to the seminar and lunch.

They are also giving attendees the opportunity to ‘tweet’ on a live feed throughout the event, and feature on an event video which they can publish on their blog or website.

Delegates will also have the chance to learn the insider secrets on how to network and showcase their businesses through social media.

There will also be advice on how best to survive the recession and how to professionals can finance their respective firms.

All the profits from the event will be invested to finance a brand new blog, to help members showcase their expertise, plan for future events and achieve even greater future success.
