A man is recovering from severe facial injuries after he was attacked outside a Halesowen nightclub on Boxing Day.
The incident happened some time between 11.15 and 11.45 at night outside Benjamin's nightclub in Cornbow Court on Birmingham Street.
The 26-year-old was hit across the face with an unknown object outside the nightspot, suffering a broken cheekbone and fractured eye socket in the attack
DC Sandra Dodd from Halesowen CID said: "This man's injuries are quite severe and he has undergone his share of hospital treatment following the attack.
"We know the area would have been busy, with it being a Saturday, and Boxing Day evening, and so we urge anyone who was in the area and may have seen what happened to come forward.
"Their information may be the vital piece which helps us find those responsible."
