Appeal for Witnesses to Fatal Collision

POLICE have today released the name of a 15-year-old boy who died following a road traffic collision in the Cape Hill area of Smethwick, Birmingham.
Joshua McAuley died after a car crashed into a shop in Cape Hill at about 11.14am on Saturday May 15.
The teenager was trapped between the car and the shop, he was airlifted to hospital where he later died from injuries sustained during the collision.
A 24 year-old female was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition, a 32 year-old man was also taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm and leg.
A 28 year-old man from the Winson Green area was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving; he has been bailed pending further enquiries.
