Masked Raiders Hold Up Pub

By Ben Aulakh

Masked raiders armed with a gun, a machete and a crowbar held up a pub in the West Midlands on Sunday October 10.

Four offenders dressed in dark clothes and balaclavas staged an armed robbery at the Farmer Johns public house on Aldridge Road, Aldridge, Walsall between 11.25pm and 11.35pm.

The armed robbers cornered two members of staff as they were locking up and threatened them before making off with cash from the safe.

Luckily none of the staff at the pub was injured in the attack, Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

DC Jen Aston from Force CID said: “Due to the time of the incident it may be that people may have been passing or saw the offenders leave, we need anyone who has any information to come forward.”

DC Aston added: “We would also like to trace the occupants of a dark coloured car seen in the vicinity of the pub at the time. Anyone with information should contact Force CID at Bloxwich on 0345 113 5000, ext 7889 6651.”
